Jetpack, developed by Automattic, is a popular plugin for WordPress. It comes bundled with many options and it is up to the webmaster what gets activated; one of these provides the ability to collect statistics. As it is tied into WordPress its use is mainly to gain an insight into how users have interacted with the site by showing: what content has been viewed and how often, where users come from and how they arrived, and what links were visited.
To find out more about the information that this module deals with we advise you to take a look at the official Privacy Information for it.
Note: We have implemented the ‘Do Not Track’ (DNT) setting to honour users who have it enabled in their browser.
